Sail4All - Rules of The Road.

The "theme" for our confidence builders during August is "Racing Fundamentals". Racing is a core activity at CCSC and all members are welcome to participate. By its very nature, racing requires all sailors to be confident when sailing at close quarters. Close quarter sailing requires good boat handling skills and application of the rules designed to avoid collisions. The race course is governed by the "Racing Rules of Sailing" which are, to an extent, underpinned by maritime Rules of the Road, the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. HERE is a short brief on the Rules of the Road with which all sailors in the club should be familiar.
